So is it O-rings on the barrel in there? Any chance of taking it to tiny little bits and taking more photos?

Re: BOV for Meg

There are o-rings sealing between barrela and water and o-rings sealing bore from mouth piece.

This means both easy operation AND pos / neg test with out leaks.

I will have a batch of 40 pcs. ready in a week, but quite a few are pre-ordered. Still some left though!

Andy

Is it a ball valve design similar to the Golem BOV?

Is the P Port included in the price??

Cheers in advance

Re: BOV for Meg

hey guys,

i must say i am suprised. do you think it would fit the KM-48 mask? since is smaller, then maybe no? has anyone tried it with that?

Can anyone send a link where someone can get a direct order?

Also, anyone has pictures with the bov on the unit, (prefer a meg)?

Thanks

Spyros

It is not a ball valve as the Golem. It is a barrel design, thus allowing a larger inner bore.

The double o-ringed P-plug plate is 190 USD.

cheers,

Andy

Hi guys,

Since many of you are asking the same question regarding order procedure:

Direct orders should be sent to info@rebreatherlab.com
We require you to fill out a waiver and return it to us in original along with a signed copy of your passport. Once we recieve it and your wire transfer clears, the order is shipped. Usual shipping to Europe and USA is 5 days.

Cheers,

Andy

Re: BOV for Meg

Hey guys,

just to say that i have received my BOV today from Andy and rebreather lab.

it sure looks great. it is very small and very light. i can't wait to test it. i'll let you know of the perfomance and details. just need to get my shut off valve and other goodies like M&J quick fittings etc.

Cheers to Andy for a very quick service.

here is a couple of more pics of it.

Spyros.

Re: BOV for Meg

as i said earlier, i received it today. it does look good. i came home and just connected it to a low pressure hose and tried to test the breathing...

off course i was out of the water, at the beggining breathing was heavy, but when i open up the valve, (you know scubapro regs have the valve you turn around on the side - it can be seen on the picture of the Bov as well) then it was very good. off course it was out of the water, but in my experience, i've tried a lot of regs, and i always test them out of the water as well...sort of feels good.

i can't wait to receive my shut off valve and M&J quick fittings so i can put it on the unit and take it diving.

what amazed me though is how light and small it is, and i've tried to attach it to my MK48 mask, and it sure looks very good and fits very well. i am thinking that i wont go for the natopod that i was after so wildly....

i'll let you know of what goes on. so far, definetely gets my thumbs up ...

also, something forgot to let Bruno know, is that its a piece of cake to turn the valve with one hand on and off...

hope this little update helps.

Spyros
