Wanted: Kiss BOV teardown

Hi Rebreather World

Can anyone provide pictures/descriptions of the kiss BOV system?

I am particularly interested in the internals of the bow. Also if you have any pros. and cons. with the system design and experience with the unit operation it would be very beneficial.

I have got an idea for a new BOV system but I am having a little trouble with some of the mechanics and need some inspiration.

For now i won't reveal the specifics of the system. If i can't manage to go from idea to working BOV this year, I will pass on my idea to Rebreather World so you can have a go!

If I do get it to work, I will probably need some guinea pigs, test pilots or test divers ;-) with variable experience, types of diving and target depths to ensure the BOV works under all thinkable conditions. This is where you guys and girls come in. I will post on Rebreather World when the time comes and see what happens.

Safe diving....

Christian

Try the KISS manuals, is pages 38-42 in the CK and 50-56 in the SK manuals that I have.

They are a free download from Jetsam's website.

They contain a full breakdown and service guide to the BOV.
