Their website says that it fits 47mm hoses. 47mm is 1.85 inches..this is a HUGE diameter hose, and not readily available. Can anyone confirm the hose diameter size for the BOV? thx.

I would email them, I think they can accommodate almost any hose on the market I know of PRISM, Inspo, and Meg units that are equipped with their BOV. I will be doing deeper dives and my bail out will be plugged in, so at this point I think it is a nice option.

Fits Mark-16 hoses and the ones that many guys use to connect a Mark-15 to larger diameter DSV's. Fits the Cooper hoses (stretch 'em and soap 'em) Fits Meg hoses (I think)... Best bet is that it fits just about anything save for old Mark-15 "tiny" hoses. You do want to stretch the hose out "little" to get it on. Not a lot, a little.... AFAIK it's the same diameter used by Divematics and Halcyon on their DSV's too. I'm still a fan of the KISS DSV, fitted with the Mares second stage. It's a little smaller in hose diameter too, if you are worried about your hoses. My Coopers slip onto it with ease and it's a struggle on the slightly larger Divematics/Halcyon/etc. Rubber hoses on my other rigs fit either diameter no sweat. Dave

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: hoses for clamp-on Golem BOV Thanks Dave. This is a bit helpful. My situation is this..I have several DSV's for the CCR2000, which are very large diameter (1.85" or thereabouts)...to my knowledge no one else produced anything this large. HOWEVER, I am looking at a buying a Golem BOV, which if smaller, will be a problem fitting with my hoses. If its actually 47mm as they claim on their site, then no prob. Soap and stretch works great in one direction, but I can't shrink my hoses ![]() second situation is that I am looking at hose options for a homebuild (which i will use the golem BOV on). If I go ahead and get some generic hose, I want to be sure it'll fit the golem unit...so is this 1.5", or 1.75/85". ML

ML I just handled one today and I'm positive it will fit any off the shelf hose around. Larger hoses can be clamped to fit (within reason) so I would not sweat it. Looks like I may pick up a Golem dealership, so if you want one... Dave
