Some of the Shadow Pack IIIs have been build with ss pipes rather than hoses of some sort and yet the unit is still small and light weight. It all depends on where the injection points are. Obviously injecting into front mounted CL is much less of an option, the Shadow Pack has all injection points into the head. The manual injection is triggered by levers, not unlike the the buttons on the MK, located towards the bottom of the unit on either side.

The advantage of that solution, aside from pressure proofing, is that the loop can run either way yet tanks can be on the "correct side" (unlike the PRISM) and O2 can be injected before the scrubber/dil behind the scrubber (unlike the Meg). A further plus is that hoseless CL are more streamlined.


Thanks for the info Stefan, I learn something new on here frequently, frequently from you. Do you have any pics of the unit? Does it have 4 hoses or 2?

Not sure what you mean by either way, do you mean that the piping for both side is identical?

And what are down sides of the design, what's the catch?
