SAC results are in :(

OK just did a few single tank dives in the Red Sea and today downloaded the Sunto and did the SAC calks.

First dive wasn't too good but I managed 15.5sac despite a 10min underwater tired diver tow for my wife after she had such bad cramp in her foot she couldn't fin (That was her excuse any way )

Second dive was a relaxed affair and I logged 13.2 over 60mins of steady finning and only mild current against for a short period.

Back in the day when i used to dive OC all the time Id plan dives on 15 for the bottom and id actually achieve about 12-13 most dives. Following my recent OC experience i think I am going to plan on a base line 17lpm from now on. So 2.5X for deep bailout (max planned depth) and 1.5X resting SAC for shallow bailout (Intermediate stops and above). My old resting SAC was 10 but i am going to up that to 12 in line with my deteriorating bottom performance.

Whilst seen as an increase from 10 -12 it doesn't seem tooo bad but as an additional 20% it doesn't look too good

Ho Hum.
