No - its not just a project. There are a number of prototypes in diving tests. There are also some press announcements. Last one this week in the Swedish Engineering monthly magazine. They interviewed the CEO of Poseidon Kurt Sjöblom. The back story being that they have got 9,5 MSEK ( 1,4 M$) in investment fonds secured. There are prototypes in test at the moment and the main obsticle seems to be getting some patents through the process. From other sources I have learned that they are very anxious of not securing the IP. In the article the CEO expects that the new Rebreather will be on the market "late this year". Some sources claim it will probably be earlier than that if patents just gets approved. The CEO is making some comments "We are expecting to make a major impression on the diving community". So far there are no dates set for instructure courses which will have to be the first step. I know Im in line to get one for sure ....
