Re: Lubricating cell pins

our experience with cell contacts: grease them well, and in exxess, with (offcourse) a non-conductive grease (avoiding short-circuit between pins)

electrical contact is by metal-metal contact, where the contact is, the grease is 'pushed away'
where no contact: the metal stays protected

thinking that you can isolate two metals that are in contact with each other, by just applying some grease, no way :-)
