I didn't say they where trying to cheat anyone, they might just be ignorant or have been tricked by someone else.

Yes... but thats not what we're talking about, at least the reg in question had a legitimate CE mark in the first place. What you do with something once you've bought it is your problem.

If the reg was CE marked as a snorkel then it would be relevant.
