Re: rebreather as a usual kit

I dive mostly Rebreather, 80 to 90%.

When I teach, I usually wear what my students wear. If I'm teaching OC Decompression Procedures, my students are wearing doubles and so do I. At least for the skills dives I feel it's important to be able to demonstrate exactly what I want them to do.

On shallow (<80') dives its nice to throw a steel 60 with 32/25 on my back and just scoot around every now and then with nothing to keep track of but an SPG.

When I dive with either of my kids on the reefs in FL, OC gear makes more sense as we are both dressed the same. I try to keep diving simple and fun for them.
