Re: getting onthe loop

Well yesterday at Lynnhaven Dive shop I VA. Beach. I got to take my first breathes off the loop. They had a tech demo days, and Pete Nawrocky was there from Dive Rite offering Try outs on their rebreather. I've already order a rebreather, and am just waiting for it to be built and such, but I wanted to see if I was going to like the idea of sucking and blowing air, instead of having it shot into me.

Well all I can say is why oh why did it take so long for me to make the switch????

I loved it, it was great breathing and not hearing all the noise. no rush of air coming in, and no noisy bubbles when i exhale. Man this is the greatest thing since sliced bread. I just can't wait to get my unit.

The only problem I had was getting used to breathing in and sinking, and rasing when i exhale, but I'll figure it out I'm sure.
