Indeed and the Mk 20 is susceptible to being cocked up in that fashion on repair. If you want to see what I mean pull it apart and then try to replace the HP stem o ring and the bits that hold it in place.
There are plenty of other regs suitable for the task. The Mk 2's are O2 certified, and I believe the Mk 10+ without the knife edge piston is suitable as well. Then there are a whole gamut of diaphragm regs made by Zeagle, Mares, Apeks etc.
