Re: fire alarm

Hi Ken,

Thanks, I will. I am glad that you mentioned that since I was under the assumption that yours is also Smithers.

Second is I do not know if your Smithers package gives you access to real time voltages.
Not as far as I know.

For those not familiar, one of the really valuable features of the APECS 2.x package is the ‘System Monitor’ page. It gives you the real time battery voltage and the mv seen by the handset for each O2 cell. For the primary side it also gives the voltage of the battery when under firing load from the solenoid.
Would be very useful, but I will wait for the APECS 3 while building up my hours on the Smithers lid first.

Hope this helps. How do you like Ron’s Meg?
Thanks, great help.

I have been VERY busy since gotten home with Ron's unit so have not had time to do anything until this week. I have since taken everything apart and cleaned everything very well, reconfigured my existing APD BMCL to fit it and ordered Meg parts to build another one...

So far so good, I am starting to understand what everyone has been raving about the toughness and part quality. Let's see how it dives as soon as we have some good weather...
