i got back my mk20 from service that i use a for my o2 side and had to try it out. quick run to 200 ft and then back up. about 180 hud go off/ flashing yellow and handsets tell me i'm at 1.0po2/ set point 1.2, while accending. display is showing solinoid is firing but no noise. hit the manual and keep accending, solinoid starts firing again but stops again at about 100 ft. fly manually to 30ft solioinoid working intermitantly for the rest of the dive keep having the hit the manual add about every three mins. Yes it was an ip creep failure, o2 solinoids don't work at higher pressures. i know that this is a problem and have been looking for a opv that can be adjusted to a lower cracking pressure say 175psia, does any body know of a supplier. all of the argon ones that i have found are set for about 300 psia. all that does is protect the hoses. by the way i think that my buddy was more worried then i was hand sets flashing , hud showing yellow, his eyes the size of dinner plates. i looked like a christmas tree. primary controller was pisssed about the injection failure so it was screaming. yes i need to put a time out in the system to shut off the alarm.


my controllers have no buttons the mag switches are played with on the surface with magnets and dont need to be played with in dive mode. so had included no option to shut off the alarms. on fresh charges i have 20 hrs of battery life so power budget allowed for the alarms. but my sanity did not.
