Re: your original parts question. I'm on the Optima and the EA cartridge o-ring set didn't last a full (active) EC season before developing a flat spot. The neg pressure tests started getting weaker and weaker and then a little while later it developed a small leak UW. So those really seemed like parts that were an annual service item, but I ended up needing a mid-season replacement. So I'd recommend a few of those on hand for the Optimas.

Karen, thanks I appreciate the heads up. I figure once we get our optima in next week I will spec out the orings. My plans are to carry all the orings and I figured maybe breathing hoses and such.

I am sooting for the same thing we do in regulators. The idea being you can come in and see in person instead of a picture most of the rebreathers that are made.
