If you go for the extended manifold, with the BOV connected to it and with a "input" quick connect on the dil side, you should consider putting an "output" quick connect on your O2 side.
This way, you can connect the O2 side to the dil side, giving you access to O2 in OC mode without an extra O2 regulator.
With the AP QCs, you need to purge the ingoing QC before you can connect them (unless you apply lots of force, what is not so easy with the thick gloves). I use this system and tried it a couple of times and it works for me.
