Well, I suppose it comes to all of us eventually - time to take diving seriously and make the switch to CCR. My last CCR dive was June 4, 1984 (diving an RAN modified CDBA rigged for O2) so I have a bit of catching up to do.

At this stage, my plan is to complete the IART CCR Level 1 training course in July diving the Evolution; if that goes well, I intend to order an Evolution and take it (very carefully) from there. Ultimately, I hope to reach IART CCR Level 3 but that will take time and considerably more experience. My objective is to be able to safely dive the wrecks off Sydney down to 60 metres on trimix.

Talking of the Evolution, does anybody have an accurate feel for the time between order and delivery? I have heard that it can be anything from 7 to 10 months.
