That part of the DR is not really set up for Americans (were spoiled babies) they have the Hilton and a couple other all inclusive that are on the beach, I am not sure what level of luxury you /her are accustom too? I would email UWE he is world renowned and ran his own place before Pirate's cove, he has a US cell phone and probably is the most qualified to answer/help you with your needs, good luck and enjoy
