Re: Which Option would you order?

The Neoprene and cordura lungs definately breathe different.. The neoprene lungs create a "bubble" near the T pieces and stretch..

My original neoprene lungs leaked after a month and required patches with aquaseal, my replacement ones so far have not had a leak although I have had to repair the mounting of the webbing to the counter lungs.. I make sure I always travel with aquaseal and cotol..

If you abuse your gear, I would go with the cordura lungs but neoprene ones are more confortable..

If you do create damage the cordura lungs they probably are not as easy to permanently patch as the neoprene ones but are easier to replace things like the manual adds and overpressure valves..

The only real negative I can say about the neoprene lungs is that if you dont clean/dry them right away, they develop a smell thats a bit difficult to get rid of..

From personal preference I would recommend pressure guages in Bar, It makes doing gas calculations (like figuring your oxygen consumption on the fly) MUCH easier.. With 3l cylinders you will use about 10 bar per 30 minutes (once you get things down).. Oxygen consumption in LPM can be figured in your head (and even when switching tank sizes) with bar guages, but with PSI guages its alot harder...
