If you want to completely remove moisture from the hoses, remove them, stretch them to pull the ribbing flat, spin, and repeat.
Don't worry too much about it though, because you were doing your skills you will have had much more gunk in your hoses than you will in the future.

That's pretty much what I thought it would be... it just seemed to be rather a lot still coming out of the hoses.
Maybe I just produce more 'gunky stuff' than others... will see what happens after I've just been diving, rather skills, skills and more skills
