Thanks for the look. Yes Dave, bottom of plate milled for bracket. Cowling still fits as it did with the original flat black plate. Tanks holding it on. All we did was place a bungee diagonally across the top of cowling on each corner that holds top of cowling in place, and a small loop at base. works really well, it is already a tight fit, not sure you need any bungee. Haven't had it in the water yet, but will let you how it goes.
