I really don't understand how people can be so bitter.

My view is that as long as a dive is done with respect and dignity to those who gave their lives - it helps to keep their memory alive whilst we remember those that paid the ultimate sacrifice to ensure we live free today.

I see no difference between paying our respects at a grave side, war memorials, in place like Flanders Fields at sites of other battles or beneath the waves where brave men gave their lives for their countries.
