Hello Underwater people
I have recently been certified and consequently addicted to the Evolution CCR. As an underwater video shooter, the benefits from the quietness to the bottom times are a major step forward and my recent open circuit scuba dives have been painfully loud and crap by comparison.
I am shooting with the Panasonic HVX200 in the Gates housing with L&M HID lights and have gathered some nice footage so far. Can anyone else out there shooting with the HVX give any advice on what scene files and settings they have found work well at various depths. I have found macro stuff with lights great, but anything wide shows a bit more grain than I think is acceptable. The blues and blacks are grainy for the most part. I have tried dropping the pedestal but am not all that happy with the results. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Josh
