Re: Mixmaster II, blending software questions

Good day group:

Is anyone familiar with the Mixmaster II blending software that is found within the Voyager deco software? It appears that Voyager is now defunct and gone. I am looking to get a copy of the blending software as a "stand-alone" application. Is it available without the need to have an unlock code to open it? (considering that Voyager is no longer in biz)
In lieu of Mixmaster:
Is there a mixing program that will allow the user to input a "blend" (example: 40%) in addition to the usual O2, He, air calculations?
Randy,

I can't help with Mixmaster II but recommend Guy Wittig's Mixer which runs on Palm OS. It is very handy to have a small, calculator sized device that does the blending math.

If I understand your question correctly, Mixer has the "blend" function. You enter the gas mix you have in one column and the final blend you want in the next one. When you press the calculate function, it gives the pressures of O2, helium and air to add to make your specified blend. It is very easy to use the program.

It also has a "top up" screen if you want to take an existing mix and top it up with air. There is a "best mix" calculator as well. The user manual is easy to read and short.

Here is a link to Wittig's page:
