has anyone thought/ tried to use it as the catalyst for making bio-diesel?

I do not know the details, just that a strong base, normally seom form of OH is used in the process...

wondering if it would work...

interestingly enough, this question has come up and there are a few bio-diesel enthusiasts on this board. The short answere is that it won't work...not strong enough/correct composition.

Duncanprice has a nice synopse here:http://www.rebreatherworld.com/surfa...ght=bio-diesel
