Welcome aboard Scott. There is a wealth of information here for you to look at regarding rebreathers.

One thing that would be nice would be more information about what type of diving you would like to do with a rebreather.

If you ask specific questions, it is gaurateed that you will get answeres from the great people on this board.

I myself dive a KISS Classic Manual CCR. You might want to check out the new COPIS Meg if you are going the Meg direction. There is a nice article just out in Advanced Diver Magazine about that unit.

Have fun and welcome to the dark side .
I picked up a copy if ADM at DEMA this year and have read the artical on the COPIS. Since I'm still learning I'm not sure exactly how a manual Rebreather works and how difficult it is to fly compaired to an ECCR. Sounds like it may be a cheaper way to go but may require more concentration and discipline to fly it safely.

I enjoy deep wreck diving and have been OC Trimix certified for nearly 2 years now. Gas prices are getting expensive and OC is such a waste that it only makes sense to go with a Rebreather if I'm going to continue the rought.

I'm planning on attending the South FLorida Dive Show this weekend. If it's anything like it was last year it's going to be mostly a tech dive show so I'll have a chance to ask lots of questions and hopefully get a few answers.

Thanks for the information guys.
