DIVx kinda blows for various reasons.
The trick with internet video is to limit the SIZE - the bigger you want the picture, the more bandwidth you need, and the required bandwidth for a decent image goes up with the AREA covered by the image (that is, at the square of the dimensions!)
The encoders in Vegas are pretty good......
