I was at work when I saw a guy polishing the floor and the filter idea came to me when he lifted up the machine. I went to the cleaning supply stock room and took all the middles out of the different polishing pads. (fine,medium and coarse) The boxes holding the pads had scotch brite writen all over them. After looking at the pads I realized that the green square ones at my local super market would work best because there all ready 1/2 inch thick.
