Hi all,
The NACD 2006 Conference took place in Florida last week-end. A very interesting event obviously mainly about cave diving, but also about wrecks (Titanic with John Chatterton and Ritchie Kohler, Andrea Doria with Evie Dudas).
It was also the opportunity for Dr Mike and me to present Cave Diving in Thailand and our deepest cave explorations over there (
www.cedricverdier.com/caveexpe.html).
Some other presentations were also about rebreathers (Brett Hemphill and his modified Kiss for Florida cave exploration) or done by rebreather divers (Brian Kakuk about the caves in the Bahamas). Also the opportunity to meet quite a lot of people who belong to our wonderful rebreather community: Paul Heinerth (Cis-Lunar and Meg diver), Jakub Rehacek (with some new Golem Gear products: Meg radial scrubber, etc), Curt Bowen from ADM (Meg diver) and some manufacturers like Silent Submersion or OMS.
And of course some off-conference activities, like cave diving in Florida (see picture)
I just look forward the next 2007 conference!
Cheers
