I know you said gas compressor but I think it needs more info to get a reasonable response. By gas compressor did you mean an air compressor driven with a gas (petrol) engine or as in a specific gas. If so what gas, dry oxygen, dry helium, etc because most industrial gas compressor companies supply other gases CNG Argon Neon etc including the non breathing gases.

I suppose a start would be:What Gas do you want to compress?
Is the gas dry or wet? (Note dry gas pumps do not have separators)
What is the inlet pressure? Ambient pressure to say 50 psi
What is the outlet pressure? 2200psig 3000psig 3600psi
What is the charging rate? In scfm or l/min
What is the duty cycle? Intermittent <4hours/day to a full duty of 24/7
As most industrial gas compressors run continuous 24/7 the service cycle is 8500 hours between servicing.
What safety features are required? remote filling, remote controls, RTD cut outs, Blast shield, etc
What level of automation is required?

This would give you best chance to get a quote fit for your application if these minimum specifics could be answered.
Gas or petrol as you say, powered air compressor for scuba, max pressure 3500psi, no special controls, maybe just a auto-off when it reaches max, dont want to blow any burst discs Although a blast shield would be nice after ron eats taco's

if we go with electric, then we have to buy a generator, the scuba shed has no power, just lights run off of an inverter and battery.

anybody have anything for sale??
