Steel or Aluminum?
Stirring the pot a bit are we?

It depends on who you ask. I am going to be diving with a buddy this coming week that carries steels. He insists that this is the only way to keep the tails from floating up (other than adding a weight to an aluminum).

I am sidemounting aluminum 40s. They ride with the tops of the tanks very slightly lower than the tails. However, they are well within the slip stream of my shoulder.

We are going to trade tanks during the course of some drills. Let's see what happens after the fun begins.
