This is the way my MK15.5 is rigged - on deep dives I was also using a lot of dil from my onboard and having to fill between dives. By plumbing off the off-board both the BCD and OC/CC DSV (Through one QC and a T piece) I have more time to drink beer between dives.
With my original set up on one dive I ran out of dil on a descent and was not able to breathe as the ADV couldnt fire and CL collapsed and then not able to stop the descent because BCD couldnt inflate - that was the moment that I decided to rethink the old set up
