I have looked thru my current U.S.N. manuel and it refers to a seperate operation and maintenance manuel. The current online maunel only describes the basic diving procedures and limits, I might be looking in the wrong section. Also the section only refers to the LAR V and the construction of the scrubber in the LAR 3 is metal Vs. fiber/plastic as you know.My big concern was the affect vinegar, caustic chemical residue and water would have on the bare metal and mesh end screens etc.?

With all due respect: Since there aren't any parts availkable, an overhaul manual isn't much help, and all of the LAR series rigs are so simple that if you need a manual to work on it you ought to not be working on it at all.... and they so rarely (IE never) cause trouble that my reccomendation is to just see if it passes a negatice pressure test and then dive it.

Vinegar works on all scrubbers. Too mild to hurt anything.
