I suppose the bypass problem could be solved by swapping out the spring form the dolphin. To be honest I wasn't thinking too straight, with regard to the effect on hte bypass, and really, I don't think it is worth the hassle.

Basically, I am looking for the simplest, most compact way to run a ray bypass.
I think I may go with a standard nitrox reg 1st stage, then will be able to go with bailout and run a wing.
