Hi,
Yes the whole Cave Movie Meg diving crew was using DiveRite Venture wings and most of us keep using them afterwards. The wing is perfect for Meg and the only thing I regret is that mine - movie issued Forest Green color DR Venture Wing, was destroyed in Tanzania during the 2006 Coelacanth expedition.
Why? The weight of the rig being dragged over the rim of the ship's deck caused multiple very tiny rips thru the inner bladder! The wing was still functional but the multiple small leaks caused me to retire it into my Movie Cave Meg Collection of props ; )
To get my fix on DR Venture wing addiction I stole one of Jakub's (Golem Gear fame) Meg - saddly it is gray in color as his character of Dr. Nicolai was rather conservative... ; ) Jakub drifted off to Golem Gear Armadillo sidemount wing for his Meg anyways.
I would highly recommend the DR Venture wing for Meg and with the addition of Golem Gear CCR Armadillo buttplate and Mark Meadows low profile backplate - it is one of the proven rigs used by real working Meg divers in a variety of diving situations, mostly cave diving.
DR Venture wings were used by deep expeditions to Mystery Sink, Florida (385ffw) and 2006 Coelacanth Expedition aboard The Kairos Company The Kairos Company - Coelacanth Expedition (420fsw).
