'D' shape it is, Flat at base and semi-round on top (Long 'D'). Just noticed that with a magnifying glass.

Oh, BTW, I dont dispose the used sorb. I reuse it for cleaning Toilet bowl since its still caustic - by dumping a handful of it in there till the next day.
