Re: Inflating Jacket from Dolphin Reg

Will I need think about having the best quality inflator to handle the extra pressure, or should it be OK?

Another thought, has anyone run the Ray dosage from the dolphin 1st stage?

I know the dolphin one doesn't like to work with the Ray 1st stage, but I wonder if it is OK the other way around.

Cheers

Because of the design of a BC inflator I dont think there is a problem on Dolphin reg.first stage: The highest the pressure is, the more the valve is firmly closed ( its the contrary than on a second stage reg )

You cant use a Ray dosage ( in fact 2nd stage Ray ) on a first stage dolphin because it is both a ADV and a dosage device, youll get instant freeflow or you have to decrease the IP of the first stage so low that you cant go at depth and anyway inthis case the dosage orifice of the ray is not correctly rated
