i have taken it all over the nation and international as carry on. only once have they ever opened it. in fact after our last little scare i thought i would have an issue with it in carry on with TSA. They did not even look at the bag!!! That being said i am prepared with all the documents i can carry about what it is. i suggest printing this info and carrying it with you. if the first TSA agent has an issue you do have a right to get a supervisor to look over it. most of the time there will be a TSA agent around that understands the "diving concept". good luck, but i don't think you will need it.
