Re: K1 project page INCLUDING publically-available files

I'm guessing within 2 weeks.

Right now I'm doing test "casts" of the potting system I have made up for the amplifier board. That's the only remaining piece - I've got all the fittings and such.

I've also got to do static tests (as an O2 rebreather) on the scrubber, etc - that'll get done here shortly, likely within the week. Quick "no sorb included" breathing (not too much now, since that's literally the "bag over head" situation!) seem to indicate that WOB is extremely low - certainly not anything to worry about. The unit also passes positive and negative tests (when I put the clamps on the hoses!) and actually will pass both with two of the four latches off (as long as they're across from each other) on either the lid or bottom of the can. The latter was a pleasant surprise.

Another amusing reality - even including all the equipment and tooling I've bought, I still haven't spent as much as any of the commercial eCCRs cost, and of course I still own all the machines and they're quite useful for other things!

For those who say "it can't be done at anything reasonably approaching commercial quality and diveability", I think its about to be demonstrated that this is complete and utter BS.

I may still come up with something that's a show-stopper or something that forces a major redesign effort (which of course will make things even more expensive), but it is looking increasingly unlikely.
