I’d view these as for EMERGENCY extension of deco use only.

There are 2 major restrictions to the flow. The one you see at the end of the male connector is one. The other is a Schrader valve hidden inside the connector end of the BC hose that is dimensionally identical to the one in your tires on your car/ bike/ whatever. Look at one of those up close & personal and you’ll see why the flow is so low.

Just my $0.02.

I use the same thing but BC connector one side and 1/4 gaz on the other side so easy to connect a QC connector and a valve, I use that to take some gaz from BC inflator of a buddy in emergency.
I also tried to connect to a reg via adaptator but if the flow is enough to feed a Rebreather its impossible to breathe through confortabily even at surface.

for that I use a 2nd stage with short hose and QC connector and its work fine and there is less risk to get salt water inside the mecanism of the reg ( not good yet ).
