I believe the reason is the Meg folks prefer to pop the QC loose, then dive the unit via manual addition button instead of via the O2 tank valve.
Deco Weenie, I think the question I was trying to ask was more on the way they do put the QC more than if using a QC make sence or not compare to an other solution.
Each solution will have anyway good or bad points
