I am hoping that someone has practical experience with this.
It has been stated by a few people that they had problems sealing the counterlungs after adding connections- basically elbows or breathing hoses.
I am curious what people have used to seals the connections with the counterlung?
Gaskets, glues, p-ports, bulkhead fittings…
Thanks, Andrew
I've got a p-port on my classic kiss (into the inhale counter lung to link up with a vr3) and I have been suprised how reliable its been. When I fitted it I had concerns over its long term reliablity (1 O ring ect), but 130 odd dives later no leaks (touch wood!).
The only thing I did do was use a thin bit of neophrene on the inside of the lung to help with the seal, and then just made sure the connector stayed tight over the first few dives. As this worked so well I found no need to aquasure it in place.
