Azimuth Tanks - Convert to DIN

Now I may be heading for warmer waters and I suspect I may have a little fun with getting the tanks on the azimuth filled...

So either going to get my own filling adaptor

OR was thinking........

Can get the bits to convert the MR12 first stages to DIN (around 15 quid per Reg), and then replace the tank valves with DIN convertible A-Clamp valves which can be filled anywhere...

Sure someone has already thought of (or even done it) but my thoughts as follows

+ gets rid of the easily damaged external threaded valve problem
+ easier to find fills
- loss of CE compliance - would have to keep bits for when unit sold
- new valves may be a bit longer
- would need to either use left handed valves or use the regs underneath rather than on top...

Any thoughts / suggestions ?
Thanks in advance
