Given that the OPV seems to be giving many a great deal of gip maybe it would be an idea to at least cut a hole in the box (behind the back plate) so you can get at the OPV without having to go through the pain of undoing the hoses and pulling the whole scrubber base out just to check. Easy access would mean a diver can visually inspect the OPV for crud each dive.
