I had 2 loop floods last week. One was a total flood with scrubber full of water. The membrane stopped the cocktail.
Not on my unit it didn't, I had a very caustic mouthful! My membrane came fitted with the unit so I'm not sure if they put any sealant in, I don't think so though as it was an early membrane and sealant is a new idea apparently.
