Hi,
A recent thread from Andy Mumford made me thinking about a poll regarding the most favorite sorb for rebreather divers.
It's not only a matter of brand but also the reasons of this choice: is it the price, the availability, the efficiency, the convenience, the recommendation of the manufacturer/instructor, etc?
I personaly use Sofnolime 797 rather than anything else as I found it to be the most efficient sorb on the market (it's a personal opinion). Nevertheless when I travel, I sometimes use Spherasorb as it's cheaper and more readily available. But I can't get the same time out of it.
Cheers
I am going to try and get Intersurgical to provide us with some test data, as far as duration 99.9% of my dives are well within safe limits so it has never been an issue that the duration is slightly lower than 797 the benefits far outweigh that extra 10% of scrubber duration.
Cheers,
Chris
