I spent the first hour in a pool with Juz and an instructor I respected and felt very comfortable with......... I still decided to wait another year before I felt ready....
I dived twindies, so swopping regs was second nature to me....... bailing out from CCR to O/C was a major hurdle for some reason so I waited........

I was very lucky, I had Juz's unit to do my course on & decide that I loved it (that took until Day 3;

I was going home ½ hour into my first skills session.....)

Good luck with what you decide, the sea is there, the wrecks are there, they will all still be there when you decide what you want to do.....
