I use a DR Rec Wing on my Optima. With a drysuit in cold fresh water I have it set up with a SS plate and 2 pounds in each trim pocket on the head, and thats it for lead. Trims perfectly and I dont need to put any air in the wing, with the drysuit. I might try it with a AL plate and no lead at all to see if it trims out OK.

Regarding the wing you mention. 35 lbs of lift would be too small in fresh water and wouldnt lift your head very far above the waves offshore.
