The manual say 2 hour. Some use it for 4 hours and a lot use it for 3 hours. It all depends on your O2 consumption, workload and other things.
Most divers use the scrubber until it has been used. I don't trash it but use it for dives on different days, no problem with that.
The tempstick shows you where in the scrubber it is active. You will get a warning when it is almost used. Don't trust the tempstick. I use it as a guideline about scrubber use, but don't use it for more then 3 hours. I got a scrubber warning after 3 hours on one dive at 25 meters.
