I guess I am long overdue in writing an intro post! I had a look at my profile and noticed that if I don't hurry up and say hello it's going to be a whole year of lurking before i say hello
I live in Oslo, Norway where I work for an ISP doing network security. Not the most inspiring line of work, but it does pay for all the dive gear!
I started rebreather diving with a dolphin around '03. After doing a lot of diving with that unit I started to look into how to make it a bit more flexible and soon realised that ccr was the way to go. I had all the plans ready and knew just what bits to order from tecme for converting the dolphin to ccr when I had this trip to Sharm el Sheik and got introduced to the Megalodon by Aaron at Emperor Divers... After reading a lot about the meg on this site and doing the little research possible elsewhere I took the plunge together with my girlfriend (annetj on this site) and ordered a couple of megs from Leon in January this year. We finished the user course in April with Chris Hutchison in Sharm and will do the remaining gas training in St. Tropez in October. We have had a lot of really good diving on the units so far and I look forward to many more dives!
A friend has borrowed my doubles and I realised the other day that certainly don't miss them...!
