Hi Phi,

Not sure, been wondering that myself. Its most likely the fact that the inner bore is smooth not ribbed like normal Rebreather hoses. Goop sits in these ribs and gurgles back and forth over each other on normal hoses. On boris maybe the goop just drains away - not sure. Could it be that the hoses are better insulators being thicker and cloth covered?? I dont really know - but the difference (YBOD, mk15,5) is striking
